When looking for a twisted snaffle this bit should come to mind. The combination of the slightly weighted ring with a 3/8" twisted snaffle makes this bit perfectly balanced for training and every day riding. The weight of the ring increases feel for both the horse and rider, giving the horse pre-signals to rein cues for clearer communication. Copper tastes sour to the horse (similar to a green apple) and will increase salivation. This makes the bit more comfortable for the horse and leads to a relaxed jaw and a more supple mouth.
