This Reinsman Josey Mitchell Double Bar Lifter Gag Bit  is a specialized bit that is co-designed by Martha Josey, a Hall of Fame and World Champion barrel racer, and one of her leading instructors, Ty Mitchell. It features 8 1/2" stainless steel shank cheeks that are designed to be longer and straighter to increase leverage.  It has a unique double bar mouthpiece that helps spread the action of the bit more evenly across the bars and tongue.  This bit has minimal gag action that would be well suited for a seasoned patterned horse that needs assistance with shoulder leverage
